Reiki, energy work and other alternative healing methods featured in Open To Flourish LLC sessions (hereafter "alternative services") are energy-based techniques that aim to promote stress reduction and relaxation. They operate on the principle that the human body possesses an intrinsic ability to balance and heal itself, a process which can often be aided through achieving a state of deep relaxation.

 

By opting for alternative services, you acknowledge and understand the following:

 

Holistic Approach: Alternative services are provided as a holistic approach to well-being. The use of alternative services should be seen as a complement to, rather than a substitute for, traditional medical approaches. Alternative services are not intended to replace physical or mental clinical diagnosis, treatment, cure, or professional therapy. If you require medical attention, always consult your physician or other qualified health provider for advice regarding your medical condition.

 

Non-Medical Practitioners: Our alternative services practitioners are not medical professionals. Therefore:

• They do not diagnose medical conditions.

• They do not prescribe or administer any form of medical treatment or substances.

• They do not provide any medical advice.

• They do not perform medical treatment, nor do they interfere with the treatment prescribed by a medical professional.

 

Potential Benefits and Risks: While alternative services may provide potential benefits such as relaxation, stress reduction, and a sense of well-being, it's important to recognize that individual experiences and outcomes may vary.

Confidentiality: Any personal information or discussions shared during the alternative services sessions will be treated with utmost confidentiality. Your privacy will be respected, and no information will be disclosed to third parties without your explicit consent, except as required by law.

 

Voluntary Participation: You affirm that your participation in alternative services sessions is entirely voluntary and that you have chosen to engage in this practice of your own free will. You retain the right to discontinue the session at any time if you feel uncomfortable or overwhelmed.

 

Informed Decision: You have been given the opportunity to ask questions and seek clarification regarding the nature, purpose, potential benefits, and risks associated with alternative services. With this knowledge, you have made an informed decision to participate in the alternative services.

 

Disclaimer of Liability: By booking an appointment or participating in a class you agree to this disclaimer, you assume full responsibility for your own health and well being. You understand that our alternative services are provided without any guarantees or warranties, and you release Open To Flourish LLC from any liability arising from the use of our alternative services. You acknowledge that any claims or causes of action, known or unknown, are waived. In consideration of the above, you voluntarily agree to participate in alternative services, assuming all risks associated with the practice and releasing Open To Flourish LLC from any liability.

 

If you are experiencing a physical or psychological ailment, it is highly recommended that you seek the attention and advice of a licensed physician or qualified healthcare professional.

Release of Liability: In consideration of the risk of injury while participating in Open To Flourish LLC alternative services, and as consideration for the right to participate in alternative services, I hereby, for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, assigns, or personal representatives, knowingly and voluntarily enter into this waiver and release of liability and hereby waive any and all rights, claims or causes of action of any kind whatsoever arising out of my participation in alternative services, and do hereby release and forever discharge Open To Flourish LLC - Douglassville, PA, their affiliates, managers, members, agents, attorneys, staff, volunteers, heirs, representatives, predecessors, successors and assigns, for any physical or psychological injury, including but not limited to illness, paralysis, death, damages, economical or emotional loss, that I may suffer as a direct result of my participation in the aforementioned alternative services, including traveling to and from an
event related to alternative services.

 

I acknowledge that Open To Flourish LLC and their directors, officers, volunteers, representatives and agents are not responsible for errors, omissions, acts or failures to act of any party or entity conducting alternative services on behalf of Open To Flourish LLC.

 

I acknowledge that I have carefully read this "waiver and release" and fully understand that it is a release of liability. I expressly agree to release and discharge Open To Flourish LLC and all of its affiliates, managers, members, agents, attorneys, staff, volunteers, heirs, representatives, predecessors, successors and assigns, from any and all claims or causes of action and I agree to voluntarily give up or waive any right that I otherwise have to bring a legal action against Open To
Flourish LLC for personal injury or property damage.

If any damage to equipment or facilities occurs as a result of my or my family's willful actions, neglect or recklessness, I acknowledge and agree to be held liable for any and all costs associated with any actions of neglect or recklessness.

 

By booking an appointment and/or registering for a class you agree to this Disclaimer and confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms and conditions outlined herein.
